In mid-November 2022, Fraser Woods were privileged to be invited to harvest dead English Oak trees from a local golf course.

English Oak is the strongest of the oak trees in Europe because of its interlocking grain. This makes it a prime wood for manufacturing extraordinary furniture.

The oak trees at the golf course died over many years and remained standing, proving their resilience as a special kind of wood.

Fraser Woods plans to cut the tree trunks into wooden boards and sell them to furniture manufacturers and lumber wholesalers.
